Hi All, In January this year we made a reservation via Hertz, to collect a car at their North Bergen location, dropping at La Guardia Airport a month later. We spent a lot of time looking at rental options, this booking was by far the best price, and with a provider we have historically found to be reliable.
IMO (IF this location is truly closed) your position when speaking with Hertz customer should be for *them* to come up with a convenient alternative *at the price you've agreed to*. Don't take no for an answer . While you could take Amtrak north - it requires reservations for specific trains (at least 2 weeks in advance for the best prices)
