This was one of the worst car rental experiences I've ever had and I've literally rented several hundred cars over the past few years. The wait for the shuttle from the airport to the rental center should have been my 1st tip.

A few notes about my recent Enterprise rental from Quebec St and Denver airport. The car, a standard, was $240 less than at the airport, so it was a no brainer to make our way there and back on our own for that difference. There are NO airport shuttles from any hotel or car rental office in that area.
4. Re: Most convenient rental car company at airport. 13 years ago. Hertz worked well here for us, but is much more expensive. AVOID Alamo. They are just a stepchild of the National lot, and their process is both confusing and tedious. The kiosks don't work, and counter customer service is poor.
Answer 1 of 16: I just wanted my fellow travelers to be warned not to rent a car from this company. I rented a car from them on July 4th, was quoted roughly a little over $1000. by AAA only to be charged over $1700. by Thrifty.
