You used to be able to book online, and get about 20% or 25% off the posted rates, and then use a promo code (which were common) for another discount on top, and end up getting 40% to 50% off. Now, the online discounts are 0% to 10%, and promos are rare, and the base rates have inched up a bit, too.
I am going to be flying out of Toronto to Calgary and will be there eight days, then flying back and staying overnight in Toronto before driving back home. I have not been terribly impressed with the hotel 'park and fly' type services, which seem to require you to choose a room at a high website price to qualify you for the service ($90-120 per day).
