I just used Hotwire this last weekend for a week's rental of a full-size car at $8.95 a day plus taxes, about $120 total. I didn't need a full week but it was cheaper to get the better rate and turn it in early. I got an Alamo car at MCO, which might be slightly cheaper than FLL. When I collected the car, they had minivans available for the ...

Hi there. We want to hire a car in a few cities in the US (not New York tho'). Hotwire has great deals but the price excludes insurance. 13 years ago. Save. I have used Hotwire for cars a few times. Never had a problem and it's always been a big name car rental agency. Budget and Hertz are two I can remember, but they use about five of the bigger name agencies. I've gotten good deals with them, too. (it was not in San Francisco, but still the same process & company)
