The trains pass through all the terminals it seems. We paid in cash for the metro tickets, which did not seem to take credit cards anywhere. (Most Japanese were using some kind of app on their phone for payment.) Figuring out the metro/subway was not exactly crystal clear, but pretty easy, and man do they have a great metro/subway system!

2 years ago. Despite the attacks that have occurred recently, I still think that the subway is generally safe. I would avoid standing too close to the edge of the subway platform though.
