    Families travelling back home aim to be here for the eve of Chinese New Year. So the days running up to it can be manic on the planes, trains, buses and roads. After that it goes very quiet for the first 2 days of CNY and then the exodus home will start from about 7 days later, depending on holiday entitlement.
