2 years ago. Does anyone know which car rental companies are actually onsite pickup/dropoff at GSP vs having to take a shuttle offsite. It is not clear to me in my searching as some show onsite but then say they shuttle offsite. I have been there before but just can't remember which ones are in the pick up right across from the terminal.
You need to return the rental car to the airport location. All the rental agencies are staffed 24/7 so no need to worry getting there and finding no one to accept return of the vehicle. My return took place very efficiently, less than 5 minutes and I was on my way to Departures.

Re: Car Rental at GSP. 15 years ago. I encourage you to give priceline a try. Go to priceline.com, choose "cars", enter airport code GSP, enter the dates and it will show you options from multiple companies. You can get a decent car for around $30/day, cheaper if you do the "name your own price" option. Good luck!
