12 years ago. Save. I rented a mid size SUV at Phoenix Sky for $13.00 per day in my husbands name through Priceline. I then signed up for Hertz Gold through AAA in my husbands name. I just called Hertz and because we used Priceline, we are not able to use the Hertz Gold perks like adding a second driver (myself) or skipping the rental line.

I had a confirmed/verified booking through Expedia (booked 10 days earlier) with Hertz Quepos. When I showed up they didn't have my reservation on file and no car available for me to rent.

110 helpful votes. 6. Re: extra charge on Hertz car rental for being over 65. 12 years ago. For a Hertz reservation, they ask your age in this manner: 18-19, 20-24 or 25+. There is no mention of a charge for a 65+ driver. I called them and got the same information. I think there is some misunderstanding here.
1. Re: Hertz car rental one way rental? 6 years ago. typically Hertz.uk may bundle in the fees for one way drop off in the rate. But all we can do is guess. You can call Hertz and ask them. Would that not be the most prudent thing. Hopefully you are a Hertz gold member so as to pick up the car quickly.
