12 years ago. I joined Hertz Gold Club earlier this year while they were offering it free of charge, and made a booking for a car for my holiday last 2 weeks of April. Upon arrival at MCO I switched on my mobile and received an E-mail from Hertz stating which car I had been allocated and in which bay it was located.
For a limited period Hertz are offering free membership to its gold reward programme, it normally costs $60 There are a number of advantages you can gain from this including no queueing at the counter, car assigned before you arrive waiting in a bay for you and no additional driver fees for spouse or civil partners.

You look at the board, find your name that has your parking spot number, find your car, then head for the exit. You hand the security person your DL and the documentation hanging ...
5. Re: Hertz Gold membership question. 6 years ago. No, you need to have the GR number on the reservation to qualify for the service, which basically means they pre- allocate a car to you which you can just go to the garage and drive off in, depending on the location arrangements.

Not sure if this assists, but l have always found that when booking through a third party (ie a tour package), all entitlements and perks with companies like Hilton, Sheraton, Hertz etc (except for airlines miles) become nullified.
I've joined 'Hertz Gold' membership and booked my car rental via the official Hertz phone line and have prepaid for the car on my credit card. They have my credit card details on file already. I am picking up at SLC airport and dropping off at SF. The rental is in my name.
Getting to rental cars On arrival at Tampa International involves an easy, well-marked train ride. Renting Gold was the expected simple matter of picking a car and exiting. Returning, I missed the left exits for rental cars — one at each end of the airport — and ended up back on the seven-mile bridge to St. Petersburg again, so watch carefully.
Answer 1 of 9: Not sure what to do I have 2 bookings - one with expedia with hertz and one direct with hertz as a gold member - the direct booking is around £30 more expensive but i get to bypass the counter i understand.
