5. Re: Hertz Gold membership question. 6 years ago. No, you need to have the GR number on the reservation to qualify for the service, which basically means they pre- allocate a car to you which you can just go to the garage and drive off in, depending on the location arrangements.
Hertz #1 Club is free. Hertz #1 Gold has standard fee of $50; however, corporate discounts, certain premium credit cards and selected organizations offers discounts. Differences in the two programs are detailed @ hertz.com. Report inappropriate content.

If this this your first rental with hertz you might have to go in to the office so they can verify your credit card. 2. We rented with Hertz back in March. Their service at the airport I thought was good and being a gold club member it was nice to skip the counter. We booked via priceline and that is where our problems were as they, priceline, managed to cancel my reservation when I called them to update my rental with the gold club membership info.
Answer 11 of 15: I understand that there can be a long wait at the rental car lines in Maui. Will it benefit my husband and myself to pay $50 for Hertz's #1 Club Gold membership to expedite getting our rental?
