Fox USA is probably different than Fox Costa Rica ..Most rental agencies in CR are not corporate operated, and are agencies owned in CR. That's why many on tripadvisor offer the advice to deal with the rental agency in Costa Rica, not with a third party like Kayak, Expedia etc.

In Costa Rica TPL is mandatory that you purchase it from the rental car company. Instead of offering TPL at a fair rate like Enterprise did (about $8/day), most companies (Europcar) will offer a low cost rental price on their website (about $20/day), then when you arrive they try to charge you between $20 and $35/day for the TPL insurance.
Answer 1 of 30: Planning a trip to Costa Rica. Planning to rent a car. Anybody did use Fox car rental or usave car rental? I need a pick up truck and it seem they are rhe only one renting them.
