Answer 1 of 7: I have made a booking with Hertz Dublin Airport for a 2 week rental in October. I know there is a number of posts for issues from prior bookings etc but just wanted to get some advice on Hertz Dublin Airport specifically eg.
13 years ago. Budget allowed city central pick-ups for same cost as Dublin airport. When I tried the same scenario with Dan Dooley, there was a huge difference in rental prices. Budget charges a 28 euro surcharge for both airport and city central pick-ups, and their rental charge was the same for each pick-up location.

4. Re: Renting a car at the Dublin Airport. 6 years ago. I just want to highlight one point Tev9999 said. Most companies require a printed out letter from your card company. This letter is required to have your name and CD number (some allow blocking all but last 4 digits) and be within 21 or 30 days of your rental.

Yes, I do believe that Hertz should compensate you for the ADBLUE and your time for not using it. I'm sure they can figure out the daily rate minus the 3-4 hours that you weren't able to use it.
if a car is ready, the rental companies do not mind an early collection as it frees their staff up inevent of a rush at your original time.. as you say, some of our motorways have tolls, but most dont. but i hope that you realised that the ring motorway around dublin (m50) has an electronic toll only. if you were driving south from airport, you could have passed this without realising, but if ...
