25 helpful votes. 1. Re: Hertz Shuttle at LAX. 2 years ago. Most car rental shuttles including Hertz pull up to the 'traffic island' in the roadway in front of exit door for baggage claim at each terminal. The traffic island has color-coded signs hanging over it. Look for the PURPLE overhead sign that says "Rental Cars".
None of the car rental agencies are exactly at the airport. The ride should be quite short to the Hertz lot and the shuttles should come frequently but if you miss one you may have to wait 15min,. for the next one(or so) I would expect that the shuttle driver would know which rental location is served by the airport shuttle.
Reviewed October 6, 2015. Great rental. I used to travel a lot for business and was even a president's five star member at one time. However this time takes the cake. We received a new car maybe only 1800 miles on it, clean and ready when we walked out the terminal. However that is the norm for gold members.
