Using U.S. iPhone with AT&T in Italy. 7 years ago. Hello, I am traveling to Florence at the end of May and have inquired at the local AT&T store about their international plans. Turns out they have a $10 a day plan, which sounds great for someone who intends to use the phone in a very limited way. The $10/day plan uses minutes in my existing plan.

I always use ATT when I travel internationally, it costs $10 a day for an international plan, it automatically turns on and off when you leave the country and when you return. Unlimited talk and data so if the wifi isn't good I use my phone as a hot spot and teether my laptop to the phone.
