   15 years ago. Hi. I have made myself an expert on evaluation of rental car rates over the past 3 months. Now I cannot speak for Canadian AAA membership, but I know that I could save at least 10% on a posted rate. But, and there is a catch! You must watch carefully that they do not apply this savings to a "market" rate.

   I reserved and prepaid for a Dollar car rental through Priceline in early Sep. 2021, for pick-up a couple of days later at EWR. When I got to the rental counter after an hour standing in line, the agent could not find any reservation for me.

   Thanks. It appears there's no AAA discount on Hertz right now except for weekend and weekly rentals (I'm renting for 4 weekdays). Hertz has a 25% off discount coupon code, but it only allows one CDP code, so it won't let me enter my AAA information to get the free second driver.

   I booked 3 days car rental through Priceline. Priceline charge me$261 ($86 for each day)for only reservation a car, not for car rental! Never heard a third party can charge you reservation fee. They call it prepayment for car rental at booking time which misleading you. Pretty high profit! Reply.
