   12. Re: Priceline Scam. Priceline is ABSOLUTELY scamming it’s customers. When they say the “Express Deal” is $20.00 cheaper and they charge you an extra $19.20 in “taxes and fees”, that is my definition of a S-C-A-M. (Fairly easy check - Ramsey MN, 6/17/22 - Comfort Suites).

   Hotels are much more aggressive now in trying to get you to book directly, so they don't have to pay 10-20% commission to Priceline et al. For direct bookings, They "give" free wifi, points toward free nights and some other perks not available if you book indirectly.
