    fwiw, we did get the QR codes a week before travel but they were never checked at any point. Not by the airline, not by anyone once we landed in Amman. With that said, it took less than 5 min to complete the information and get the QR code, so there's not much time savings by skipping this step. I would definitely just have it in case you need it.
