1. Re: Japan vs Hongkong. 10 years ago. Both cities are a reasonably good for a family holiday. Tokyo Disney is far larger than Hong Kong's but I doubt if a 6-year-old would notice much difference. There are other theme parks in both places though. There is vegetarian food in both places, though I think it's a bit easier to get in Hong Kong ...

When using in-town check-in, you definitely don't need to allow 3-4 hours before your flight time for your bags to get to your plane. I usually get to the station roughly 2 hours before my flight, drop off my bags and pick up my boarding passes.
