Each of the banks and/or Casas de Cambio will have signs posted showing the rate of exchange for the US$. For an amount of $500 they'll probably all be about the same, with very little difference. But check. If you were exchanging thousands of US$ the rate would, obviously be higher.

This is a prepay rate, where you pay the actual car rate now (which is $130) and you pay all the taxes and fees at the counter when you get there (which would be about $140). Is Dollar trustworthy?
