Ben Franklin's is the big arts and craft store of the island, where the local ladies go. i kind of doubt they carry locally dyed yarn, but at least it would be purchased in Hawai'i. The main store is in Hilo and a smaller version resides in a section of Ace Hardware in Waimea.
