   In effect you resize the photo but need reduce the quality to meet the application requirements (if that makes sense lol) if you are using a good quality camera/phone. Maybe an additional line in the guide saying: "if after resizing/croping, your photo is >300KB then use this site to reduce to KB to <300KB"

Once I had resized and reduced file size mine was slightly out. The photo on my Visa does look a little odd but obviously me so not going to worry about it.
