The other thing is since the introduction of ‘dynamic pricing’ into the rental car market over the last few years things are very volatile, like airline tickets. Rates can change daily, there can be big variations in prices between the companies and even from one week (or day!) to the next with the same provider. 3.
So far, he's right, we havent been charged any extra. Our bill was exaclty what was estimated at reservation time, $85.00 plus taxes and fees, $128.00. I must say, I would definately use Dollar or Thrifty at MCO location again. We got a great car. Check in was not so bad.

We will collect our car from LA airport on 20th September and return it to san fransisco airport. It will be all paid for before we arrive.
Answer 1 of 12: Does anyone know about this discount offered by Dollar after I booked a car? $20 if I call some 800 number, something about "Great Fun". Hate to open myself up to spam, which is kinda what that smells like to me...
Last June when we arrived as Dollar Express members also, we reserved an intermediate and was told to go pick out any car we wanted. We got a pacifica. We only rent from dollar. We leave this Wed. and rented an intermediate for 1 week at $132.65 tax and airport fees included. Keep checking and reserving until you leave and get the better price.
