The TSA website says all liquids must be less than 3 oz (technically 3.4, or 100ml) unless they are medications. I cannot find anywhere on the site the definition of "medication."

5. Re: Taking Contact Lens Solution in Hold Luggage. 10 years ago. I use the solution with peroxide, as well. It is marketed as "Clear Care" brand name here in the states. They do sell a travel size of 3 oz and I put it in my 3-1-1 bag. I refill the travel size bottle with my larger bottle at home.

If you carry more than 3 ounces you are supposed to place it in a bin separate from your 1 quart bag and tell the screener, but I've carried a 4 ounce bottle on dozens of flights and have never declared it or been ...
