    Janey if I was having my contact lens cleaner confiscated 50% of the time I would definitely be speaking to my eye care provider about using a different cleaning solution or using disposable lenses when you travel. There are many options to avoid this problem. Of course it may be that you enjoy the notoriety of having your solution confiscated?

    There have been several Air Travel discussions over the years, about Clear Care (3% H2O2) solutions and particularly RGP lenses. I have never had my travel size bottle confiscated, but I do recall a security agent at LHR taking a long look at the bottle once, then allowing me onward.

Searched all over Paris for Peroxide-based lens disinfecting solution and only found 1 pharmacy that sold packages of 4 Aosept 300 ml bottles for 39 euros. Pharmacies and Parapharmacies only sell the standard solutions. Plan ahead and bring as many 90 ml travel-size bottles as you can.

They do sell a travel size of 3 oz and I put it in my 3-1-1 bag. I refill the travel size bottle with my larger bottle at home.
