Had 2 claims prior to Covid with Travelguard and was satisfied. Probably will come down to your individual level with their coverages. Report inappropriate content.

We booked a family trip to Cozumel for April 2016 and purchased the insurance (Travel Guard) through Costco. The balance is due 3/9/16. My daughter-in-law now cannot travel for medical reasons and is waiting to get a Doctor's note and we will see if we get the deposit back for their part of the trip.
This is the third time I have submitted a claim in over 20 years of travel. I used to automatically call Travel Guard for insurance, with out going for competitive prices, as the phone calls and response has been great. They are no longer staffed to answer phones and give service.
