Re: Drive from SoCal to BOISE ID. 3 years ago. You came for trip advice and it is more than 13 hours from LA to Boise. It's about 850 miles, and you would have to average 65mph with no stops to do that. This route also includes some non-interstate travel. I used to drive over the road from Costa Mesa to Boise.
