To add to Silvia's suggestions, maybe try going to settings->show advanced settings, then reset browser settings. If just clearing the browser history doesn't work, then you'll have to delete all cookies. I'm not certain I understand the issue. I have run multiples searches in the mobile version (IOS) and don't really see any crowding of search history in the search box. Silvia.
