Hi, I hired car for 22 Nov 2014 from Avis Car Rental (NAIA Airport) and paid my deposit via credit card. They said they will refund with in 14 days. I have left Manila and called them up and reached them via mail, and even after 2 months they are not refunding my deposit and nor replying my mails after few initial one and ignoring my request.

If you need any help from Avis re rental issues, don't waste your time emailing their customer service address. They don't reply, I've been waiting 2 days for an acknowledgement of my enquiry message.

Dear AVIS Car Rental, Shame on you! After reading all the complaints and warnings of Costa Rica Car Rental companies and their questionable extra charges, we settled on AVIS. We reserved through the AVIS head office, and got our written estimate in hand. We were aware of the Mandatory insurance as well.
