I no longer get anything out of our AAA membership. I use a paper atlas and smartphone GPS technology instead of AAA maps. I find hotels with internet searches and TripAdvisor reviews. Senior discounts have been better than AAA discounts for the hotels I book. I would use my smartphone to find roadside assistance, should I ever break down again.
