The closest Walmart to the airport is at Deerfoot Mall (although outside the mall, so you don't have the issues as noted above). Take Airport Tr. to Deerfoot Trail and go south to the next exit (64th Ave). Go east on 64th Ave.
5. Re: Walmarts in Punta Cana. 13 years ago. There is a mini-market down the road from the Natura Park that sells liquor. (You will pass it on your way to the hotel.) I thought it was reasonable. Much cheaper than the resort gift shop. I walked to the mini-market and it didn't take but 15 minutes from the front desk of the Natura.
