The down side to DISboards is that they are not watched as carefully, and while folks joke about OWLing here, perhaps not enough OWLing happens there on the DIS. As CarolLee mentioned, there are attackers and I think they are more unchecked there than here. On the DIS I like the smilies, and I wish both DIS and TA had "like" buttons. :)
Our voyage on the QM2 was very nice, our most recent of several Atlantic crossings. That said, the dis-embarkment process is definitely a complicated, hectic undertaking. For anyone not familiar with NYC or not a native English speaker, it is a daunting process. A few comments may be useful to others.
Re: How many of you are on "Disboards" as well?? 14 years ago. We use both Disboards and the DIBB - have actually found the DIBB to be very easy to navigate i.e all the posts on one topic are together - big help. Disboards have some great planning advice, but DIBB seems to be the place for best ticket deals by a mile.
