The August long weekend holiday Monday has different names across the country: BC Day, Terry Fox Day, Natal Day, Civic Holiday etc. but there is not actually a provincial holiday in Alberta on that weekend. Alberta's "Heritage Day" was replaced by Family Day in February.

Wwnt here on August long weekend. I was very pleasantly surprised. I knew what the egg would look like - but didn't know there was an amazing park here.
