   13 years ago. Yes, when you book with Expedia there will be a fee for the car seat. And yes, when you book with Budget direct there is a fee for a car seat. I looked at Expedia May 9-13 10:30am pickup and dropoff. I dont see the $137 rate. Rates change by the minute sometimes and possibly the low rate on Expedia changed shortly after you saw it.

   Re: Rent a car from Expedia or direct from Avis etc ? Always book direct. Especially with cars in such short supply. If you show up at the Hertz counter with a Hertz reservation you will get better help if there is a problem, than if you book through a third party and have to track down Expedia in a hurry.
