Chat and email both require a Lebara number. HELLO!! I am trying to figure out how to PURCHASE a Lebara number but want some information as to what I am purchasing. 7) Even to raise a concern as serious as this, Lebara asked us to recharge again to talk to customer care. Both the customer experience and the response from Lebara to such a serious issue has been very poor and ridiculous. The big mistake from our side is to have used the credit card with them.
All SMS text messages, regardless of your provider, have a character limit of 160 characters per message. The initials SMS stand for Short Message Service. Note "Short". When Lebara (or anyone else) offers unlimited texts, it's the number of messages - not the size of each - that unlimited.
To recharge my sim card, I went to a newsagent in France and bought a 5 euro Lebara voucher. I entered in the number given and the phone said "unknown command" and didn't recharge. I've since found out that you can't recharge a Lebara sim from the UK with a voucher bought in France. So basically I was unable to use my phone for a week in France.

I have been a Lebara customer for more than 6 months now in the UK. I ordered a sim card from the Lebara UK website for my wife last week. On receiving the sim I tried to top-up the sim but it failed 3 times a total of £25 was charged to my card. I called customer care on 0870 075 5588 to discuss my issue.

The 16th of August I asked Lebara mobile to transfer my number from GiffGaff to their company. I purchased a plan AIO15 the 31 of July, 15£ plan, which expires the 31th of August. They told me they will transfer my number in 72 hours (3 days). Today it will be the 14th day I can't use my phone.
