    Probably not. Craigslist is no different. Facebook 'might' be better if the person giving you a ride was a friend or acquaintance in real life. If not, it would be just as unsafe as Craigslist. The suggestions for MegaBus, BoltBus (and I think, FlixBus) are much better.

    Hi maevedave, This rental is in a neighborhood. It is NOT close to the beach. I think you would be very happy with Villa Rosa Inn, it is very quaint and in a quiet neighborhood as is The Eagle Inn, both are about 1 1/2 blocks from the beach and close to the wharf and the yacht harbor all of which have some pretty nice restaurants.
