When we were there 2 weeks ago, Payless used the same counter as Avis and shared the same line, which was quite long. We waited about 45 min outside with no shade when the temperature was 88F, while Budget and Hertz/National had no outside line. I did not notice any Payless customer having issues.

At other locations Payless has a lot of bad comments. So, I am hesitant to book without being able to find any more specific comments about this location. I have been tracking car rental prices for a week in summer since aver a year ago. I had been tracking a July week in 2023 and I never saw prices below $1,000.
