When I got to the rental counter after an hour standing in line, the agent could not find any reservation for me.
That rate can be $9.00 - $13.00 extra per day. The rentals are also calculated on 24 hours. Say pick-up on Friday at 9:00 am and drop-off on Saturday at 12:00 noon, it is considered a TWO-DAY rental with all the associated taxes and fees. Again, in the FAQ's.

However time pressures sometimes means it’s easier to see the sort of prices on offer on an aggregator site rather than traveling through each supplier individually. I’ve learned a lesson though. Hi! We are going to rent a car for two days to go from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon.. Reviewing the prices I see that when making the reservation directly in Avis it comes out for 397 dollars: 218 of the car, 89 of LDW and ALI (insurance) and 80 of taxes, while in Priceline for the same car for the same date it gives a total price of 203, indicates that this includes taxes and the two insurances.
