Hi Pamies. We rented with Hertz in Italy 3 times and on each occasion have had some issues with them....each time we said we wouldn't use Hertz again, but we have! On one occasion we got a car that was completely unroadworthy, but we didn't notice until we were on the motorway - the tyres were bald and the wing mirrors were cracked so much that they were useless.

Answer 41 of 93: We have used Hertz quite a lot over the years. Recently, we had to return a few days car early. Hertz are adamant about not providing any rebate or concession on a future booking.
