American Airlines call agent stated that you can fill out a form and get reimbursed for the extra charges if you choose another flight. The next flight was the next day 3 hour drive away. So having to spend an extra "service" charge from the car rental , a hotel stay.
The horror started with the car rental company in Texas. rental car company E-Z car rental aka Advantage Car Rental did not go as well. Could not find where to review rental care companies. The customer service rep Christina at the counter used hard care preying on fear tactics to purchase the extra car insurance.

I got the flights changed after being told 3 different stories by a customer service representative that spoke at best broken English. 3 times she asked if she could book me a rental car or a hotel room. I told her no the first time. I contacted customer service via email and was told that I could get a full refund.
