Re: No Response from American Airlines Customer Relations. 9 years ago. Funnily enough, i sent an email this morning at 6.48am and had a response at 2.21pm this afternoon. We then had to wait in a customer service line for two hours to get rebooked to a flight next day which cancelled all our plans. The customer service representatives were very rude and claimed the delay was due to weather, likely to avoid compensating us. Date of travel: May 2024. Seat comfort. Customer service.
After several complaints to the UK office, they eventually received a refund of their airfare, some $1700. But nothing about compensation for expenses/problems incurred: - Cancellation policy of hotel in Buenos Aires. - Taxi to airport in Miami. - Without their baggage for five days.
