Premium Economy seats broken and American Airlines doesn't care. Premium Economy seats didn't work. No WiFi, no power, no light, no call button for 11 hour flight. We were told they'd been broken a week. Date of travel: June 2024. Customer service. In-flight Entertainment. Value for money. Check-in and boarding.
We then had to wait in a customer service line for two hours to get rebooked to a flight next day which cancelled all our plans. The customer service representatives were very rude and claimed the delay was due to weather, likely to avoid compensating us. Date of travel: May 2024. Seat comfort. Customer service.
I got the flights changed after being told 3 different stories by a customer service representative that spoke at best broken English. 3 times she asked if she could book me a rental car or a hotel room. I told her no the first time. I contacted customer service via email and was told that I could get a full refund.
Additional, inappropriate statements were made, by American Airlines staff, to me, which I do not wish to repeat. The actions of the staff at American Airlines were unprofessional. I would like to give specific details to management at American Airlines. I feel they should take affirmative steps to improve their dealings with passengers.
