Votes. Yes, the only way to make the reservation is to call. You'll need both patience and persistence. Polo Bar only takes reservations up to 30 days in advance. The line opens at 10:00 a.m., and you won't be the only one calling at that time. Last November, it took me nearly 40 minutes to get through.

You might be lucky and be able to book an early table through open table , otherwise they hold half of their tables for walking, be prepared for a wait.
3. Votes. If you download the Palace app there is a link to the resort credit website. You can book spa and golf on there using the resort credit and paying supplements for hints not covered by the resort credit. There are only few restaurants where you need to book. Jc steakhouse at the Grand and the Italian at the Golf Course.
