A year on, and I still can't upload photos - don't know if it's the same problem. Regardless of whether I attempt an upload whilst writing a review or subsequently, the add photos screen prompts me to "click on + to add photos".....except there is no '+', just a giant white empty box. I'd upload a screenshot, but it won't let me ;)
Re: Trouble uploading photo. 11 years ago. Geoff, To check the size of your photo, look at the file attributes in the explorer. It should be less than 5mb. One quick way to try to reduct the size of your photo with a PC is try to email it to yourself. If I remember correctly, Windows will resize it automatically.

I have spent HOURS trying to upload photos tied in with some of my reviews - I select the photos for upload, click "Upload" but nothing happens. They're all JPGs, originally 2400x1600 typically 3-4.5MB. I reduced them further to 1600x1067 all no bigger than 2.2MB.
FYI --Before I left, the Walgreens pharmacist verbally told me my test was negative (they just couldn't get the official document to upload in time). I went anyway hoping they'd fix their systems issue before I boarded my connecting flight. Didn't work out but my downside isn't the same as a normal visitor.
(1) The Android app on cell phone works by uploading 1 to 4 pictures simultaneously. (2) APP will upload up to 50 photos at a time with a review. (3) However, the website is wonky and sometimes they upload, and sometimes they never upload.
Sunday May 03 - I am experiencing major issues uploading Photos with Reviews today, and this has been going on for about 5 hours now. When uploading the Photos, the progress bar hangs and at different points. Sometimes it is on the first Photo, sometimes a random Photo in the group. I have had to back out of the Review template a dozen times ...
You could be having a slow internet issue. But that's usually a phone issue with only 1 or 2 bars.It seems photos hang and won't get uploaded on a slow connection on TripAdvisor. Or the photo size is too large. Try to keep under 5 MB per photo size for the fastest uploading unless on a faster 30 Mbps or more upload.
