I think there is no trustworthy rental agency that doesn't ask for a deposit. I am surprised by the offer from TicoTravel, that deposit is extremely low! When I requested rates and the amount of the deposit directly from Adobe and Europcar the deposit was much higher. Maybe it only applies for a small sedan.

Most of the other well-known brands (Avis, Hertz, Budget, Thrifty and Dollar) DO require a deposit over and above the cost of rental (anywhere from $200 to $350). It's good to know, especially in Vegas. For a week's stay, you can easily encounter up to $1000 in holds (with hotel and car rental deposits). Report inappropriate content.

Re: Car rental with no deposit, no excess. 1 year ago. **I guess I feel insecure leaving the deposit, because I am afraid it is going to be difficult to get it back if the car has any scratches and etc.**. This is why a deposit or full insurance is required. If you damage the car they want to be able to collect the money required to fix it.
