That ups the coverage to (again depending on the agency) 2,000,000 pesos. If you don't buy it, they will put a hold on your credit card for (maybe) $2500.

I can think of half a dozen times we had to go to great lengths to not get hosed after once getting unfairly charged for scratches that were on the car when we picked it up.

Avant, EasyWay, or America is the recommended rental companies. Please go directly to their websites and don’t book 3rd party.
