Contour is an American Airlines partner and uses Terminal F which also handles other American regional flights. He might be able to get both boarding passes when he checks in at American or check in online.

    Google PHL airport map and you can see it easily. Even terminal F, which is slightly detached, can be reached by walking (or shuttle bus airside after security). F is unlikely to be used for PHL-MCO, it’s for the American Eagle regional flights. You’ll arrive at A (probably A-west) and clear immigration and customs.

    It's about a 10-18 minute walk depending on specific gates. Cart service is available but the wait often outweighs time saving. Assuming all is on time, you should be ok, that's just under my absolute 2 hr minimum. You need to be at your departure gate by 10:49, which gives you an hour and 24 mins assuming all goes well.

There is a shuttle from gate C16 to F-Central, which runs every 8-12 minutes depending on time of day and demand (sometimes a little less frequently). However, 50 minutes is still not enough time.
