History. Japanese tabi are usually understood today to be a kind of split-toed sock that is not meant to be worn alone outdoors, much like regular socks. +1. I found the scenery not too different, though after many times in the Canadian Rockies, Glacier NP didn't have much of a wow factor for me. The combined, contiguous national and provincial parks in the Canadian Rockies (Banff NP, Jasper NP, Yoho NP, Kootenay NP and provincial parks) are A LOT larger than Glacier NP, so there are far fewer crowds, and many more trails & things to see ...
46 reviews. 71 helpful votes. Evacuations Naha (Okinawa)?? Jun 15, 2024, 10:12 AM. In a newspaper in the Netherlands we read that 300.000 people are evacutated because of heavy rain in Naha. I cannot see this news on other websites/news sites Japan. Does anybody know about this?
Answer 1 of 5: We are going April 5-11, it's prime-time spring break. Rates are high. KBH and Royal Lahina are at the right price point for us. Perhaps it's too early for anyone to be advertising deals, but I haven't found any at the more expensive...
