    I would definately go from Tarangire to cut down on the time it takes. The road to Tarangire is the same road as you would use to go to Dodoma or Kondoa/Kolo; except that the hard surfacing ends shortly after leaving Tarangire, when going South. The way to travel on a dirt/gravel road there is to do it slowly, say 40 - 70KPH.
