Three years ago at age 77, on arrival in Ireland I was forced to have a $3000 euro charge to my credit card in order to rent a car. I'm going again in a week, now 80. Using a Chase Sapphire preferred card to charge for car rental I would like to have, in writing, coverage specific to Ireland in order to avoid a similar experience.
