Deacon's Lodge is an attractive, interesting golf course. The fairways and greens are in good shape. The layout is fun. However, it is absurd to pay $112 for a round of golf that takes 5 1/2 hours. At this price, we should have seen a ranger speeding up the pace of play. NOT!
